Admission Policy Consultation

Dear Parent/Carer

Proposed Changes to the Leeds Admissions Policy

Leeds City Council is making changes to their Admissions policy and is currently consulting on these
changes with all stakeholders across the city. As Rawdon Littlemoor is an "own admission authority"
school because it has Foundation Status as part of the Aireborough Learning Partnership Trust any
decisions about changes to the schools’ admissions policy fall to the Governing Board to decide.
The Governing Board at Rawdon Littlemoor have decided to continue to use the Leeds City Council
admissions policy and therefore are seeking the views of all stakeholders on the proposed changes which
would come into effect for admissions in 2020.
In short, the main change would be to move away from "nearest priority" criteria for school admissions to
defined "catchment areas".
All the documents that relate to this change are available below

If you would like to comment on these proposals please e-mail the school (office@rawdonlittlemoor.org)
by no later than 3.30pm on Thursday 31st January 2019.
