Thank you Kestrels for such a lovely half term - it's been a bit of a blur and we have certainly packed a lot in.
You have worked so incredibly hard and done so much work to try and catch yourselves up, what with all of the extra booster clubs and 1:1 sessions going on throughout each day, on top of usual lessons. We are so very proud of you!
Thank you also to all parents and carers for all of your patience and support while we try to get things back on track. Your kind words of encouragement are greatly appreciated!
Here's just a few reminders about what's happening when we come back after half term:
Firstly, children do not come back to school until Thursday 10th June and it is our Inter-house Cycling Competition on this day. If you have a bike and helmet, and you can get it to school on that day, then that'd be great.
Our PE session after school on Tuesdays will continue to take place until the end of the year.
Our other PE slot has moved from Thursday to Friday, as we have a specialist coach coming in. So, you will now need to wear your PE kit on Fridays instead of Thursdays.
If you are currently attending an after school booster club, these will end week ending 18th June. We will, in light of this week's assessments, review our booster provision at this point and let you know our plans to take us to the end of the year in due course.
Have a wonderful, well-deserved break, children, and we'll see you after the holidays!
