Skipton Castle! The children reallyenjoyed visiting Skipton Castle. We learnt about what happened in the great hall, the old medieval Kitchen, the Lords bedchamber, the Knights guard tower as well as the secret court yard. We even went into the dungeon!
Show me the money! Over the last few weeks we have been thinking about money in Kingfisher Class! Next week we are thinking about working out change from 20p.
Viking food preservation as part of science week UKS2 researched how the Vikings preserved their food. We even had a taste test of some “delicious” examples, such as fermented meat, smoked fish and pickled eggs! Kestrel classroom is still rather fragrant!
