Governors

Welcome to Rawdon Littlemoor Governors web page.  Our Governors are volunteers who help to run the school, working together with the Headteacher who is responsible for the day to day running of the school.  We are involved in;

  • Deciding on a school’s strategy
  • Making sure that school funds are spent in the best interests of pupils
  • Supporting and challenging school leaders and making sure they are doing a good job

We support the Headteacher and attend meetings asking questions to make sure that the children are receiving the best education and the school is being taken in the right direction.

We hold 6 full Governing Board meetings each year, and we do not have any committees as all business is discussed by the full Governing Board.

If you are interested in becoming a Governor please visit the Leeds.gov.uk website and if you would like more information about becoming a Governor at our School please email the office office@rawdonlittlemoor.org
