Welcome to Our School Council

Our school council is elected by classes in September. We meet together every month to discuss important matters and help to make decisions brought up by class council meetings and Mrs Beardwell.

So far we have organised: a non uniform day which helped to raise money for utensils for cooking; spoken to Mrs Lee from Pinnacle about the new lunchtime menu (major topic!); organised a football rota and footballs for each class; organised and sold buns for charity – raising £245; talked about how school governors should support the whole school rather than individual classes; made suggestions about what our school motto should be; plus, so much more.

We feel it is important that children have a voice in our school and we are proud to have been chosen to do such an important job.
