Hi there,
We will be going on our trip next week and we are out in the elements all day, so we just wanted to make sure we are all prepared and ready! Here are a few reminders…
The children need to arrive at school at the usual time, ready for departure at 9:15am.
Kestrel class will be going on Tuesday 19th March
Puffin class will be going on Wednesday 20th March
Blackbird class will be going on Thursday 21st March
We aim to return to school by 4:00pm, and ask that children are collected from their cloakroom doors, not the front of the building, so we can properly monitor who has been collected safely.
They will need to wear their uniform as normal (PE kit is fine) on the top half but may wish to wear warmer jogging bottoms on the bottom half, especially if the forecast is poor. Jeans are unsuitable. Warm, waterproof coats are needed, and comfortable shoes as we will be walking around both villages (sticking to paths).
They will need to bring a backpack containing their lunch and enough drink to last the day. They do not need any spending money.
If you child is travel sick, please ensure they have taken a tablet before we set off, and provide one, in a labelled bag, for the return journey.
Many thanks,
Upper Key Stage 2
Thank you to all the families who have returned the football kit their child wore at last Friday's UKS2 match. Please may we ask that the remaining kits are returned as soon as possible. Please could we also ask families to check their sock drawers - as we are short of a few pairs!
Many thanks,
Mrs Jarvis and Miss Clarkson.
Hi there,
Just a quick reminder that it's our school Interhouse Rugby tournament tomorrow afternoon. Please can all children come in their PE kits, dressed for the weather (and possibly touch of mud!) No studs please, trainers will do.
Many thanks,
Upper Key Stage 2
Hi there,
This is just a reminder that it is our Christmas party day tomorrow. Children need to bring their party clothes in a named bag. Clothes need to be suitable to play party games in.
If you are able to send in a contribution of food or drink, and would like your container back, please put your child's name and class on. (We stuck the note into their planners a couple of weeks ago).
The Year 5 party is during school hours, but the Year 6 party is after school from 3:15-5pm. If you are happy for your Year 6 child to walk home after the party by themselves, please let their class teacher know they have permission to do so.
Many thanks,
UKS2
Hi there,
The week before last your child brought home some information regarding Bikeability cycling training planned for week beginning 27th November. This is just a quick reminder that if your child wishes to take part, please may you complete the permission slip and have it back to us by this Wednesday, 15th November.
The Bikability team can provide bikes and helmets if your child does not have them/ if you are unable to get your child's bike into school, but please indicate that you wish to borrow on the slip (there are boxes to tick on the second page).
If you require another copy of the letter, just ask class teachers or at the office.
If we do not have a reply by this Wednesday, we will assume your child does not wish to participate, and will instead continue with normal lessons in class.
Many thanks,
Mrs Jarvis and Mrs Whetstone
Please could all year four children bring PJ's as well as their swimming costumes to next week's swimming lesson. (WED 21.6.23)
Thank you
Sorry for the late notice - please can all year 4 children come to school wearing their PE kits tomorrow. We have a skipping workshop in the morning! Thanks.
