Whole School Curriculum coverage
Aim
At Rawdon Littlemoor we have created a curriculum that we believe enables children to become lifelong learners. This has been achieved by using a topic-based approach to learning with as many subject areas taught being linked to that topic theme. This along with practical first-hand experiences gives our children something to hang their learning and help develop a wider understanding and interest.
Some subjects and objectives do not lend themselves to being taught in this way and they are taught as discrete subjects.
Our whole school plan shows where national curriculum elements are covered. The Key stages shows the individual topic plans and how these are mapped across our two year cycle.
